When you should start for JEE preparation?

JEE is one of the most prestigious engineering entrance exams in India. Rigorous preparation for the exam should be started when you are in your 10th Standard itself. Getting yourself mentally ready for the exam is essential when you are planning to write for the JEE exam. Keep a note of the following when you are getting ready for the JEE exam:

Right time to start – Technically speaking there is no specific time or age to start for the JEE exam. But, it will be best if you can start preparing from the time you have reached the 8th Standard. JEE exam includes questions mostly from 10th level to 12th level, which means you need to be clear about concepts in Math, Chemistry and Physics from 7th Standard onwards. So it’s great to start early and stay one step ahead of the competition.

What to work on? – It needs a lot of hard work when you are planning to write the JEE exam. So right from the beginning it is important that you try to understand concepts - basics or advanced, clearly. When you understand the concepts well, you can apply them to solve questions correctly. Spend as much as time possible in learning concepts and on its applications to solve equations or mathematical problems. If you have any doubt or unclear about a concept, clarify with your teachers as and when the requirement arises.

Focus – Focus is very important when you plan to achieve your goals. Have your goals clear and pay attention on how to progress further to reach your goals. Without focus and planning, no one has achieved great things, so focus on your planned actions and get closer to your dreams.

Right guidance - Most of the JEE aspirants suffer due to lack of understanding different concepts taught in different classes. To avoid such situation you must take appropriate action to clear your doubts at the right time. Starting from 7th Standard, you need to pay attention in understanding all the concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. And how you can do that? By getting the right guidance from your teachers or mentors at the right time. Never ignore the power of teachers’ guidance and always take proper inputs from time to time. You must not shy away from asking your doubts.

Stick to your plans – Always stick to your plans. Success comes to those who believe in working regularly to achieve what they set out to. So it is important to stick steadfast to your plans and work on them every single day. When you work regularly even unclear roads become visible and you get more clarity on how to approach your dreams and what you can do better to get what you want when you write the JEE exam.
